Custom Wood Creations, LLC is located in Kokomo, Indiana and is owned and operated by a Vietnam era US Air Force Veteran. After serving in the Air Force, I worked in the corporate world for many years. I have always been interested in woodworking and have built wood pieces as a hobby since my high school years.

When my daughters graduated from college, I built each of them a custom Red Oak cedar lined "Hope" chest. When they got married, I built each of them a custom wall box clock with mechanical movement and pendulum. Now that some of my grand-daughters have graduated from high school, I have started a new tradition of building the girls jewelry boxes. When my first granddaughter finished her secondary education, I built her a Cedar chest. Then she got married and I built her a custom cupcake holder and a battery operated wall clock with pendulum.

For years people have told me that I should go into business making wood furniture and home decor. So, when the opportunity to build quality custom bunk beds and Western Red Cedar Adirondack lawn/garden furniture presented itself, I started Custom Wood Creations, LLC.

I specialize in quality handcrafted products made with only the highest-grade materials. I offer a wide variety of furniture and accessories. My two primary lines of furniture is the Western Red Cedar Adirondack Chairs and the Custom Bunk Beds. I build every product displayed on this site one piece at a time. All my furniture components are individually cut, shaped, sanded, and assembled in my shop.

Our Western Red Cedar is hand-selected and sourced from sustainable managed Pacific Northwest forests.

The Cedar wood is a full 1" thick and is Kiln-Dried to a moisture content of 8% or less. The hardware we use is all quality stainless steel that is manufactured in the U.S. All of the pieces in our Adirondack products are glued with elasticized polyurethane adhesive as well as being screwed. Our outdoor furniture is Eco-Friendly environmentally sustainable and comes with a Lifetime Warranty at no additional cost to you.

My bunk beds are extremely strong. The beds are built with 2" x 6" choice pine wood. Every bunk bed has secure safety rails the length of the bed on both sides. Each ladder rung has six (6) #12 screws securing it to the corner posts. The bed slats are included with the bed. Twin Bed slats are 2" x 4" boards and Full Bed slats are 2" x 6" boards.

Even the fragrance of our pieces is completely natural and healthy to breathe, unlike the smell of toxins found in furniture made in China.
